Blaine Miller is a Master Maine Guides License,
White water Rafting Guides License, and is an
active member in the Maine Professional Guides
Association.
He has guided canoe/fishing trips in northern
Maine since 1971 and have earned a reputation
for having some of the best fishing , satisfied
canoeists, and all around great trips in the
north woods.

Black
Mountain
Located in the Longfellow Mountains of Western
Maine, Black Mountain has operated for over
four decades, offering affordable downhill skiing,
cross-country skiing, and snowboarding to folks
in the area. It has also been the site of a
number of world and national cross country skiing
championships over the years. Black Mountain
was recently purchased by the non-profit Maine
Winter Sports Center, which is helping Black
Mountain expand and reach out to the communities
of the River Valley. The plans for the mountain
include new trails, snowmaking, lights and a
new novice/intermediate section and a lift.
Also included is a lift to the top of the ridge,
planned for the 2004-2005 winter season. This
new section will increase the vertical from
470' to over 1,100'.

Loon
Lodge
Fishing at Loon Lodge is a unique experience.
We are located at the headwaters of three famous
watersheds, the Allagash, St. John, and Penobscot
Rivers all begin right here. Countless miles
of streams, rivers, ponds and lakes make it
impossible to fish it all. But your welcome
to try.
